Preparation of the Nicosia Local Plan | Public Meeting of the Latsia–Geri Municipality

As part of the ongoing preparation of the Nicosia Local Plan, the Latsia–Geri Municipality, in collaboration with our Office, held a public meeting on Thursday, 9 July 2026, at the Latsia Municipal Theatre.

The meeting aimed to inform residents, property owners, users, and other stakeholders about the Local Plan preparation process, the key principles of urban planning, the existing planning zones, and the main issues influencing spatial planning as well as the future development of the Municipal Quarters of Latsia and Geri.

The event also provided an opportunity for an open discussion, during which participants shared their views, concerns, and suggestions regarding the planning and future development of the area.
