Preparation of the Nicosia Local Plan | Public Meeting in the Municipality of Lakatamia

As part of the ongoing preparation of the Nicosia Local Plan, the Municipality of Lakatamia, in collaboration with our office, held a Public Meeting on Monday, 6 July 2026, at the Events Hall of the 5th Primary School of Lakatamia.

The meeting aimed to inform residents, property owners, users, and other stakeholders about the Local Plan preparation process, the key principles of urban planning, the existing planning zones, and the main issues influencing spatial planning as well as the future development of the Municipal Quarters of Lakatamia, Tseri, and the Anthoupoli Settlement.

The event also provided an opportunity for an open discussion, during which participants shared their views, concerns, and suggestions regarding the planning and future development of the area.
