Nicosia Local Plan | Public Meetings Hosted by the municipality of Nicosia

The Municipality of Nicosia, in collaboration with ALA Planning Partnership Consultancy L.L.C., held Open Public Meetings on 4 and 9 September 2026 as part of the ongoing preparation of the New Nicosia Local Plan, which concerns the Municipal Quarters of Nicosia, Aglantzia, Engomi and Agios Dometios.

The meetings provided an opportunity to present the planning process, discuss key issues and priorities related to the future development of the Municipality, and engage directly with residents.

Public participation and dialogue were central to the meetings, with residents invited to share their views, positions and proposals. Their contributions provide valuable input to the ongoing planning process and will help inform the preparation of the New Nicosia Local Plan.
